This week has provided me with a much greater overall understanding of how serverside scriping languages work and how they integrate with flat XHTML and CSS. It is reasuring to have good solid XHTML and CSS skills in place to provide a foundation to my learning.

I have had a small amount of experiences working with databases before so I have an understanding of the principles of storing and manipulating data in this way. Integrating this into a web based any application is proving to be a bit of a learning curve but I am getting there.

Efficient use of both PHP and MySQL is proving to be essential and extremely useful in realising the clients brief.
