Getting Harder… study & reading books. Feel slightly misdirected with learning.

This week I have felt a significant increase in the need for self discipline. Working through tutorials and reference material is proving to be a little dry.

There is a definite case of trying to run before I can walk when it comes to my learning, but this unit is helping to control that. Previously, I have learned by doing, only to find that I have been doing all wrong and have to do over.

I have primarily been working my way through the W3C PHP tutorial which has provided me with a greater understanding of the language.

As well as learning the right way to do things, I have purposefully been removing characters and creating errors to familiarise myself with common error messages which I will almost certainly encounter during the build & development stages of the project.
